This is the first reaction I saw when the bombs went off at the Boston Marathon. He was handing me water, I was reaching out to take it, and we both just froze. I’ll never forget that look. Markers and pens on a 3 x 5 index card.

Today’s index card drawing. Started this on Saint Patrick’s Day and got frustrated with it. I just finished it. Ink and gel pen.

Not enough sleep+too much caffeine=weird art. I found a 2.5 x 3.5 inch scrap of black construction paper and drew on it with ink and a gel pen. Things are never what you expect.

My attempt at drawing a nighttime landscape with two light sources: the moon and a streetlight. Based on the view out my window a few nights ago and made with markers and pens on a 3 x 5 index card.

I ran during the big storm we had a couple weeks ago, and I’m just getting around to putting my memories on paper. This is based on what I saw. Made using markers and pens on a 3 x 5 index card, I added the snowflakes in after with a gel pen.

This index card drawing is a gift for Jacqui. I scheduled this post to publish automatically, because I’m out with my girlfriend celebrating our two year anniversary! This was based on several photos I took during our trip to Newport RI, where we saw a beautiful sunset. I also included a silhouette of the little moped-engined trike we rented to get around.
